I’m author, entrepreneur, and action-adventure aficionado Garrett Bettencourt, and I would like to welcome you to Swords and Starships. An online community dedicated to two simple principles:

I wrote my novel series Blood & Oak and Galaxyborn for a simple reason: I wanted to create the stories I miss from my childhood. Stories about classic heroes who fight for truth, justice, and the Way of Freedom (aka the American Way). I miss sci-fi that imagined a future where Humanity is _bette_r off. I miss stories that aren’t afraid of the darkness, but leave you filled with inspiration and hope.

The Swords and Starships community is my central hub for connecting with readers, viewers, and listeners. I’ll post to the community:
